carbonia may be one of the least known cities in the rome italy mission, but it is definitly one of miracles. it is a little of 30,000 who seemingly all know the missionaries. as you walk down the main street where the church is you see the same people nearly every night. but that's what endears carbonia to me. I remember being there with first Elder Zaimi and then Elder Suker, Elder Wahlquist and Elder Reilly. We had so much success there. Our english class was about 100 people strong every time, we did radio contacts to people and knew all the shop owners. We worked hard and had alot of investigators. Work there was going so well. When I got there, we had only 4 missionaries and two members. Two months after I left, they had four baptisms and a lot of investigators coming to church. It was a strong testimony to me that great things happen even in little cities. I love that town. Word to Tello, Marcella, Mama Luisa and family, and SAlessio and Filomena.
