When I was a new missionary to Italy in December 1996, my first city was Carbonia that had yet to be touched by missionaries. With Elders Stott, Young and Childers, I learned how to be a missionary in Italy on the streets of Carbonia. We built the pulpit that we used in the front room of our apartment for the church when it was just missionaries and the occasional investigator. Those days were hard but some of the best of my mission. Its good to hear the great city has grown from where we started. Carbonia was truly ready to be harvested!
